When I almost doubted...
To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket — safe, dark, motionless, airless — it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. The alternative to tragedy, or at least to the risk of tragedy, is damnation. The only place outside Heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love is Hell. - CS Lewis

God is...
"I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him." - Acts 10:34-35
This is what I believe our theology should be when thinking about Salvation. And boy is that beautiful. Do you know what this means? What does God want US to think? What does God want us to do?
Can Christians be saved?
Can Jews be saved?
Can Gentiles be saved?
Can Jailers get saved?
Homeless, Drunkards, Prostitutes, Gays?
Answers these questions, honestly?
Okay, so you say yes. Good so do I. God wants us to KNOW that all can be saved. CAN BE SAVED. But the path is Narrow. NARROW.
So you think all these people can be saved right? Are you being part of their lives? Are you involved with people from all different backgrounds? Different places? Different religions? Aliens? The Lost? Forgotten?
I know I am not, not all the time.
But you know what we can be doing? Asking the second Question: What Does God want US to Do?
Stop Judging. It's not our place. And Love, Accept. Show Mercy. Don't we all deserve that? Mercy, Forgiveness, Love? Hope?
Hope.
Don't turn these people down from church. L O V E them. Invite them to stay. Why not? All have fallen short...yes that means you too. And me.
Please Guys, Stick up for the broken, the lost, the hurt. It breaks my heart, BREAKS it, when churches turn these children, people, unbelievers down, when the only thing they are looking for is Hope.
That is all. Love. Please. And Remind Me To Do Also.

RIP Lepsy

Bad News: My Poor little Mouse, Lepsy passed away, after a long and over drawn out sickness. No body knew what was going on, but I saw the pain in her face, and the way she just curled up in my hands. Poor girl. And Then Re-Re her BFF, snuggled up next to her the last 3 days. I came home to her in their wheel, laying side by side. Lepsy was now paralyzed from the back down. Her head and front feet were the only things moving. I picked Re-Re up, and laid Leps in a near by box. There she died instantly. It was bittersweet, watching her pass, but knowing the RE-RE her BFF kept her alive for so long. I cried, really, for hours. To try and stop, I cleaned my place, which got messy at least 2 hours later. But I gave her a nice little box, that C.J.'s mommy made, laid her in it, and put pretty pink rose leafs on top of her. Now Re-Re is all by her lonesome. And she crys, really, and its the saddest thing. Here are their last days together...
I love you Lepsy, you were beautiful and a great pet. I will miss you forever. And So will Re-Re.

My Life
"My Life is my Message" - Gandhi
When I was in S. Africa last year, I visited a place were Gandhi was thrown in Jail, a place he walked, and I actually worked at the Jail he was in. It was a great experience. More to be learned about the compassion people have for others, and the will power it takes to love on everyone. It is beautiful, and it amazes me.
Anyways, I want my life to be my message, I try to live this out, but I am a human, I am no awesome person, I am just me, and I am way defaulted and I have my own issues too.
But I was looking into the ocean lately, and It just kept reminding me of how HUGE the world is, but how small it is as well. And How God is really the Huge one in it all, and I love that He is such a mystery to me still. When I think about God, I have that childlike faith all over again.
The other night, I was journaling, for 2 hours, about the last past 4 years of my life, and for the first time EVER, I cried like a child, tears of joy, and hope, and peace and everything wonderful, because I finally get it! I get God's amazing love and his grace and forgiveness! I was so happy. I am so happy.
My life is my message, and that is what its all about. I want to Live, I want to learn, and I want to do something amazing, so I can rejoice everyday and be so Glad and thankful I have my God, that God who loves me, and has always been the same.
I can't wait until School is done, sometimes I get restless thinking about how much longer I have, but really, 3 semesters is not that much! And I will only be 22, and I can do so much. =)
In this time of lent, I am so so grateful I am finally understanding the meaning of forgiveness, to forgive myself and others. It is helping me to love and grow, and have a passion, an ongoing never dying passion to help others across the world, and even in my own world.
I thought I would share. "My Life, is my Message..." Let your life be yours.

My Dad

My Dad is freakin buff. He is the one on the right. I guess thats what I get for having a father who is an ex-body builder. And don't worry he was one of the ones that don't take steroids to get buff!! Boys, my father always said "Your boyfriend, you bring home one day, must beat me in an arm wrestling match."
News flash dad: I only like boys who are tall and real skinny. Guess that wont happen.
Thought I'd share.
oh P.S. Happy St. Patrick's day!!! I had too...I'm Irish. =)
